As President of MOBI, Mitch Black leads the company’s go-to-market strategy and organization, contributing to the overall growth and operations. Leveraging his years of industry leadership experience and knowledge of the enterprise mobility space, Mitch works closely with the MOBI Co-Founders on the company’s overall direction while providing daily executive leadership with the rest of the MOBI team. Mitch is actively involved in many of the sales, marketing, and client success aspects of the company and leads the company’s strategic partnerships and industry relationships. Previous to his position at MOBI, Mitch spent 20 years in other executive positions in the mobility industry, leading such companies as BrightPoint, BrightStar, PCS Wireless and Verizon Wireless. He began his career in a sales position for a GTE Mobilnet (now Verizon Wireless) agent, where he developed his tact and love for the fast-paced global wireless industry. Born and raised in rural Indiana, he attended Marian College (now University). Today, he lives with his wife and four children, serves on the board of Jameson Camp and TEMIA, and supports several Indianapolis-area non-profit organizations.
